Description
I just got a message indicating that the Conrad regarded me as a no show and is charging me the full price of the stay.

- I never had a reservation with the Conrad;
- I'm staying at the Courtyard at Times Square and I have a note from the Conrad acknowledging that fact;
- I expressed concern that the Conrad was asking for credit card details for the Marriott and they replied that they were processing both;
- I've never received any confirmation that I had any kind of reservation at the Conrad; and,
- I have no intention to pay A penalty for a reservation I never made.

Now the Conrad says that I should take this up with the conference organizers. Could you intervene on my behalf?

NOC team,

FYI - this afternoon I've found the jabber.ietf.org<http://jabber.ietf.org> server lagging a bit.  It took a period of time to connect in to the chat room  (sidr@jabber.ietf.org<mailto:sidr@jabber.ietf.org>) in this particular case.

When I type something in the chat, it sometimes take 20-ish seconds to appear. However, after the first message gets posted subsequent messages seem to get posted quickly.

I'm using the Psi app on Mac OS X. The jabber server I'm connecting *from* is chatme.im.

This is NOT urgent as it is in fact working okay.  I'm just passing this along in case it will help diagnose issues.

Description
Who can tell me more about the IETF’s jabber server?  I’m unhappy 
with my employer’s jabber server and I’m hearing they can’t find a 
jabber server that can reliably support O(1000) users.  Would love to be 
able to point to a working production configuration…
