#1065 closed defect (fixed)

maybe not time yet? Anyway, rm 3311

Description

Hi,

I dunno whether it's not time yet for this, it being only early
afternoon on Sat, but the network in my room (3311) is incredibly
flaky. I can tell that the IETF network is working some, because of
the address I get eventually, but wifi works and then stops completely
from time to time. The wired network appears to work rarely, and
mostly not at all.

Too early & you'll have it working eventually? That's a perfectly
acceptable answer.

A

Andrew,

Thanks for the report, but it's a known issue. We're battling some issues with the hotel's shiny new DOCSIS 3 based distribution network. Seems there's a loop somewhere in the system. Apologies for the inconvenience, but know we've been bashing our heads against this for the last 36 hrs or so and will continue until it gets resolved.

Just as a follow-up, are you using the ietf-hotel or swissotel SSID?

Andrew,

Please see my latest mail to 98all. Could you please check to see if your room works now?

Thanks!

Andrew,

Sorry for the delay. We saw this ticket and replied, but there was a problem with our outbound ticket emails. Our apologies.

Are you now able to use ietf-hotel? We continue to work with Ruckus and the hotel's vendor to try to find a v6 solution, but v4 should work now.

Let us know!

Andrew,

Just another ping. Are you still seeing issues?
