#1363 closed request (pending)

unable to login

Reported by: jim@… Owned by: Sean Croghan

Component: incoming Keywords:

Description

When I click on the meetecho link, I’m prompted for my datatracter username (jim@rfc1035.com) and password. These worked yesterday. Now I’m told I’m unauthorized. The web site flashes up a chunk of JSON(?) for a fraction of a second -- too short to read it -- before saying unauthorized.

I get the same result if I use the email address and registration confirmation: ZV27OKYZ

What’s gone wrong and how is this fixed?

Hello,
There appears to be an issue with the data exchange between datatracker and meetecho. We are working on the issue and will notify you when it is resolved.
Thanks,
-Rick Alfvin

We believe the problem has been identified and resolved. Please try to login to meetecho again. If you continue to have problems, please go to the Registration help desk in gather.town and verify that your registration is valid.
Thanks,
-Rick Alfvin

Sorry Rick. I’m still getting the same behaviour. Except this time I’m told I’m not authorized before I get to supply login credentials.

Have you tried clearing your cache and cookies? You might also try a different browser such as Firefox. Let us know if these suggestions are helpful.
FYI...many other people had this issue and it was resolved.
Thanks,
-Rick Alfvin

Yes. I’ve done both these things.

Jim,

According to registration you are not registered for the meeting with jim@… as an email address. You have logged into data tracker with jim@… in the last 30 min. You can go to the registration desk in https://gather.town/z6N2SDxHebMdDAfo/IETF-108 or send an email to registrar@… to help resolve the registration status.
