Description

I've noticed that the Datatracker login step fails when trying to join a Meetecho meeting using Microsoft Edge. I'm getting a "check.state argument is missing" error after clicking on "Login via Datatracker".

Make sure that your datatracker account has the email that you registered with attached you can check this at ​https://datatracker.ietf.org/accounts/profile/.

If you don't have that email linked to your datatracker account you will need to add it.

It's properly linked. I *can* login using Firefox and Chrome.

Are you using the current verison of Edge 84.0.522 or newer?

Older version of Edge version 44 and below is known to have issues.

Well, I guess that's my problem. This is a corporate laptop on which I can't update software. This is what I have:

Microsoft Edge 42.17134.1098.0

Yes that is the older version that has been abandoned by Microsoft with 44.19041 being the last version. Microsoft moved the code to be based on Chromium.
