Can't mute audio output on Meetecho today

When I click the speaker icon at the bottom right of Meetecho window, I expect the sound output to be muted.

Actually, I could on Day 1 and Day 2, today at ANRW meeting, I can't.

Of course, I can mute locally on my audio output of my Mac, it is not useful, and it is not working as expected.

Note that, the volume control is also not working.

I'm using Safari on macOS Cathalina, both today and previous days.

I answered this question on the chat. The volume controls only work with the mixed audio coming from "real" participants. They don't work with video streamed from files, i.e., pre-recorded presentations that are streamed at ANRW. If you want to mute that track, you can right-click on the video and use the controls you have there.

Volume controls were not designed with this scenario in mind, as it's a last-minute addition we made for ANRW. We'll fix that in the next version. Thanks for the feedback!
