email2track problems

Description

  1. newly created ticket status is "resolved"
  1. it creates the description in such a way that when you follow up trac thinks the description is edited (this could of course be a trac bug)
  1. email followups don't followup (there's a configuration option for this but we never tried it)

  1. I think this is standard trac speak
  1. I choose not to set up the followup options as it has trouble

parsing subject lines so sometimes gens new tickets - easier
for me to moderate and repost relevant emails

added a pending tag for resolution via the admin id and made
that the default - is pending doesn't suit, what would you like?

I don't care. I guess this is just an email2trac thing since when you create a ticket via the web interface it doesn't show a resolution in the initial email at all.

do you remember where the email2trac conf file lives? this may be tunable.

never mind - found it and the option that might work is:

alternate_notify_template

which may be more work than it's worth
