I don't see that we're heavily loaded at the server end right now.

OTOH, I do see Google and Yahoo are both spidering our FTP sites right
now (I didn't know they did that, but "googlebot" is logged in to FTP
rightnow...)

If the NOC has nothing, I can reset processes and restart the server if
needed...

FWIW I've noticed that "the internet" is rather fast-and-slow here - I
do not think that it's the NOC's problem so much as just transport
through this area, but I have no real way of knowing anything.  Things
just don't seem as smooth here...
