The IETF Chair has approved the request, including for the activity to occur in the terminal room.

This means the only remaining task is to configure the static routes.

I'll be bringing our router on Monday morning, and would like to hook it
up to the cable drop and set it up. Is there a NOC room where I could find
one of you, or alternatively what's the best way to reach you?

Regards,
Woj..

Woj,

The NOC room is Cavendish. You can use any open port in the terminal room switch, so if we did everything right you don't even need to deal with us :-)

When is the interop event?

Bill

The ASR1k ended up being too noisy for the terminal room, so it will have to be set up in the allocated meeting room, Plaza C from 1pm-7pm on Tuesday.

We have a switch in Plaza C, so we have one new task:

  • Configure one port on sw-plaza-c for VLAN 48.

The upstream routers are 130.129.48.2 and 130.129.48.3, and do VRRP to .1. Similarly, 2001:df8:0:48::2 and 2001:df8:0:48::3. .2 is the primary router, so you could use that rather than relying on VRRP.

Woj went to get SFPs for the ASR1k; Plaza C is open from ~1pm - ~7pm today for pre-setup and testing. We should have the VLAN 48 port available on plaza C today so that woj can do the pre-testing.

Gigabit0/5 on the small white switch in Plaza C is now on the right vlan (thanks, Nick!). Woj, feel free to plug into port 5 to try to preconfigure the asr1k.

I haven't heard from WOJ and the event is happening now, so closing this ticket as it is assumed to be working. Please let us know if we need to re-open this ticket. (Dictated from Billo)
