> Hi, when we put our machines on the "ietf-v6ONLY" wife network, they do not get a DNS resolver as part of the RA packets and so they cannot resolve addresses and make connections. Two of us have manually added "2001:df8:0:5::6" as the DNS server and have then been able to connect to sites.

Dear Dan,

we were aware of the problem that it had stopped working and did not have much luck finding the proper fix for this meetings gear. We have thus now reverted to the old solution using a dedicated switch for this.

This restores working stateless DHCPv6 on all the meeting networks (ietf, ietf.x ietf-a, ietf-a.x and should also on the terminal room switch), however not on the hotel wired/guestrooms or hotel wireless networks.

There will be another short interruption in service later today while moving the switch from the NOC to the machine room.

Thanks a lot for reporting. You were the first outside the NOC to notice/report. And thanks a lot for trying IPv6-only!

Bjoern
