#652 closed request (fixed)

eduroam and default route via DHCP

Reported by: oliver.hahm@… Owned by: cdoyle@…
Priority: tbd Milestone: ietf-088
Component: incoming Keywords:
Cc: My Current Location:
My MAC Address: My OS:

If I connect with my laptop to the eduroam provided in Hyatt, I'll receive the
following IPv4 address via DHCP:
and the following default router:

Since router and the assigned IP address are not in the same subnet, that
doesn't work and apparently is not the corresponding router for
"my" subnet.

If I connect with my phone, everything works fine with eduroam. For my laptop
I'm using ietf-a right now, which works fine.

The subnet mask should be /21, not /22. I've verified that the mask is correctly set on both of our name servers.

Can you try this again and verify that you are getting a /22 ( mask, and nothing is set manually on your laptop's config?

Can you try this again, please? I found an issue with the subnet assignment in the DHCP configuration which I have resolved.
