Description

Hello,

There is a ticket open with Telus (the upstream for the IETF conference) with the Subject line:

> Subject: [#2317280] Re: URGENT IETF Vancouver Ipv6 routing - AS852/Telus - AS6939/Hurricane Electric

This deals with some failures on the part of AS852/Telus in routing traffic via Seattle to west coast sites. You can see this via a traceroute.

Hello all,

We swapped ticket emails with Telus and found that they have an issue between Vancouver and Seattle. We disagree with their configuration; however they recommended a fix.

That fix causes this to happen ...

... there is not clean routing from Vancouver to the rest of the v6 world (well at least Hurricane Electric's world).

Life is better for v6 users at IETF. We will continue to work with Telus during the day. I'm sorry this was an issue for IETF participants. It was not noted till today.
