Description

At 5:30, wireless signal on ietf-hotel is weak but usable (seemingly) at
desk. I get my IP address.

But - I can't ping the first-hop router.

The hhonors network is connect-to-able, but shows a login page.
I've resorted to using my phone as a wifi hotspot. More reliable

Good morning.

We've resolved a few issues with the services running on the guest WiFi? and I wanted to see if your connectivity has improved. We had a DHCP pool exhaustion at the start of the week we addressed on Sunday evening, and last night we identified and resolved a VRRP configuration issue. We have also requested that the hotel adjust the power levels of some of the access points servicing the guest room towers.

Please let us know if things have gotten better from your room.

Network in my room is now usable. Thank you!

(still weak, but IP packets get where they should)

UPDATE: While I was writing this, my Ubuntu box reported that it was
connected to ietf-hotel 3 times - and then packets could not get through.
I reconnected (still to ietf-hotel), and then packets flowed.

Timestamp: 07:20 - same device as before.
