Description
Wired network has been fine all week. Suddenly it became very slow, web pages and email time out.
Ping to my server back in U.S. don't look that bad though so I'm puzzled:
--- turing.pensive.org ping statistics ---
39 packets transmitted, 38 packets received, 2.6% packet loss
round-trip min/avg/max/stddev = 204.251/208.998/212.539/1.882 ms

Terrific. Glad to hear it. I'm going to close this ticket. Please let us know if you have any other issues.
Note: See TracTickets for help on using tickets.
In looking at the traffic graphs, I'm leaning towards heavy utilization on your Ethernet segment as being a possible culprit. I've tested from my own room on Tower level 9 and things look OK.
Would you mind checking again this morning to see if things have improved?
