Description

Folks,

In ALL WG meetings slides are not readable when presented on meetecho.

Can this be fixed asap ?

Also they do not even fit the browser's allocated screen.

Thx,
R.

Hi, the human-less sessions are carried out in a fully automated fashion, with the slide video feed being captured directly from the beamer. The result is not as perfect as the converted images you got used to, but I believe it is already good-enough with the capture video cards we're currently using. Please keep in mind that in order to get the best possible quality, the slides should be projected by the chairs as full screen presentations. Unfortunately, this in some cases does not happen and this also explains why sometimes the slides do not fit the browser's allocated screen. Stated in different terms, what you see in Meetecho is exactly what local participants see in the room: if the slides are cut on the local screen, they'll be cut in the Meetecho window as well.
We'll anyhow work on further improving the perceived quality of the slide stream.

Thank you for your feedback!

Simon

Thx,
R.

Feel free to contact us at support@… whenever you see fit.
