#873 closed defect (fixed)

Lacking network information

Reported by: tomoki.omiya@… Owned by: nkukich@…
Priority: tbd Milestone: ietf-091
Component: wireless Keywords:
Cc: My Current Location:
My MAC Address: My OS:

Description

Dear NOC staff,

When I use IPv4 Wireless (ietf, ietf-a) at this IETF91,
following information is not provided automatically at
couple of places (Coral 5, open space and Terminal Room).
 -Default Gateway
 -DNS Service IP Address

Automatic assignment of IP address, DNS server, Defalt
Gateway using DHCP is set to on.
There is no change from previous IETF or access at my
hotel for this meeting. Hotel (not headquarter hotel)
Wireless works well this morning.

Is there any changes for IETF network setting from
previous meeting?

MAC address of my PC is 64-80-99-16-F0-D8.

I appreciate any your suggestion for solving this problem.

Best regards,

Tomoki

Tomoki,

Please bring your device to the help desk in the terminal room, or the NOC in the Nautilus lounge, so we can debug this further.

Thanks!
Chris.

Dear NOC staff,

My problem has been solved by using new SSID called "ietf-2.4only"
announced by Chris.

Thanks for tentatively fixing issue.

Tomoki
