Reported by: michelle.cotton@… Owned by: Clemens Schrimpe

Description

Hello,

I couldn't connect to the ietf-hotel wireless in the Tapa tower. There were
no other networks offered (as mentioned in the email that went around).
My folks also tried but no successŠ

Any suggestions?

Thanks for all you do!

Perhaps the answer is just to use the wired connection for now?
(I understand that is part of our IETF hotel package so there is no extra
charges, correct?)

Yes. Using the wired network in the hotel is free of charge - if you use the IETF network. You have to use the 2nd port on the little connector box under the desk, like displayed in the attached picture.

It sounds like you just ended up in a dead spot in the building. Wired will be your best bet.
