room network troubles (bad wireless; wired not working at all)

My room (7098, corner, 7th floor) has at the moment pretty bad reception on wireless, packet drop in the 50-70% range even if the wifi L2 shows good signal strength. Probably just suboptimal wireless deployment in the hotel. So nothing to be alarmed about at the NOC, or anything that you can do something about. Channel 1, BSSID 24:c9:a1:6d:a6:28; occasionally connecting to 24:c9:a1:6d:92:f8. But I also get nothing from the wired connection, no DHCP, no connectivity at all. Tried two different cables just to be sure it wasn’t my old cable that was broken. Should the wired Ethernet be working in all rooms? Not sure if this is specific to my room or something else. Jari

I've been told by the Hotel IT that they have repaired your wired connection. If you would like to try it tonight, please let us know if you have further issues.
If it works, we will close the ticket.
