Description
Connectivity at couches near the front/right corner of the Cafe Bistro on the Mezzanine level seems to be a problem on "ietf". It seems to be working reasonably on "ietf-hotel". I am sitting here using the latter. pr -- Pete Resnick<http://www.qualcomm.com/~presnick/> Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. - +1 (858)651-4478

Pete,
We are fully deployed with all of our own equipment throughout the conference center.
The common areas were going to be best served by hotel infrastructure (ietf-hotel).
If we have some equipment free up today, I will try and see if we can get the team to deploy some access points around.
Thank you for your patience,
-Con

I will point out that, at the time, I was getting a good strong signal from the “ietf” network in that spot. I simply wasn’t getting DHCP. Your call if it’s worth investigating further. pr On 23 Jul 2015, at 7:37, IETF Meeting/NOC wrote: > #974: Network issues at front/right of Cafe Bistro > ------------------------------+--------------------------------- > Reporter: presnick@… | Owner: creilly@… > Type: enhancement | Status: assigned > Priority: tbd | Milestone: ietf-93 > Component: network | Resolution: > Keywords: | My Current Location: > My MAC Address: | My OS: > ------------------------------+--------------------------------- > > Comment (by creilly@…): > > Pete, > > We are fully deployed with all of our own equipment throughout the > conference center. > > The common areas were going to be best served by hotel infrastructure > (ietf-hotel). > > If we have some equipment free up today, I will try and see if we can > get > the team to deploy some access points around. > > Thank you for your patience, > > -Con > > -- > Ticket URL: <https://tickets.meeting.ietf.org/ticket/974#comment:2> > IETF Meeting/NOC <https://tickets.meeting.ietf.org> > IETF Meeting - NOC pages -- Pete Resnick <http://www.qualcomm.com/~presnick/> Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. - +1 (858)651-4478

Pete -
Note that you're actually on the hotel side at that location - over to Con for more detail.
